Second Generation

Mark Anthony DELON. Born in 1750 in North Carolina ? Mark died on 17 May 1808, he was 58.  Mark married Ann TAYLOR, daughter of John TAYLOR.  (nothing else is known at this time on the Taylor line).

They had the following children:

i. Henry Delon, was born July 18, 1778.  According to Hinshaw's Quaker records, Henry married Mary Bundy, daughter of Josiah & Mary Bundy and had the Nathan Delon, (Nathan married Nancy Bundy and had Josiah and Mary Delon), Mark Anthony Delon (married Mary Pritchard and two sons, Joseph and William Delon were granted a removal request to the Blue River Meeting in Washington County, Indiana on November 17, 1832), Jesse Delon, Nancy Delon, Henry Delon, Josiah Delon and Samuel Delon.  Apparently Henry married a second time to a "Penninah" last name unknown, unless is was Delon (a cousin) and they had Mary, David and Jonathan Delon.  A Penninah and Jonathan, son of Penninah were granted a removal certificate to the Deep River Meeting (Guilford County, NC area) on February 18, 1837.  I had previously thought that the Penninah Delon that was granted a removal certificate was our "Penninah" below as she and her daughter (Martha) and some of her other children ended up there too.
ii. William Delon, was born February 19, 1780.
iii. Reuben Delon, was born June 24, 1782.
iv. Simeon Delon, was born January 31, 1784.  On August 16, 1806 Simeon was dismissed from the Quakers.
v. Hannah Delon, was born October 30, 1785 - Hannah is found living with her sister, Penninah (our line) in the 1850 Guilford County, Census living one door down from Martha Bundy, Penninah's daughter who married William Monticue.  This group moved from the Pasquotank county area on the east coast of N.C. to the central part of the State, Guilford County, sometime between 1822 and 1840, with the year 1837 being the best guess as that is when others in the line migrated west.  Living with Hannah Delon is Samuel Delton, Ann Delon, Penina Delon and Jesse H. Delton.  I don't know if the Delton is a misspelling of Delon or who these two are if it's not.   Henry Delon brother to Hannah and Penninah had a son named Samuel and I think this is them.
vi. Jesse Delon, was born April 14, 1788.  Jesse was dismissed from the Quakers for marrying out of the discipline on March 16, 1811.
vii. Ann Delon, was born June 1, 1790.
viii. Penninah Delon  (January 27, 1792-1872) - our line
ix. Miriam Delon, was born December 7, 1793 migrated to Henry county, Indiana and married Jehu Wickersham.  Her niece, Martha below also went to Henry County, Indiana, but after Miriam.  Martha Bundy sent her sons William and one other to Henry County, Indiana ahead of her.  Neither boys are listed in the 1850 Guilford County, Census.  Jehu and Miriam kept Miriam's niece's children in their home in Henry County, Indiana.  Miriam's niece is Martha Bundy child of her sister Pennianh Delon, above.
x. Margaret Delon, was born February 10, 1798.

From Indiana marriage records:

9-21-1848 Joseph DELON of Orange Co., son of Mark Anthony and Mary, both deceased, of Symons Creek MM, NC, married Rebecca KING at Lick Creek MH.

Third Generation

Penninah DELON. Born on 27 Jan 1792 in Pasquotank Co., North Carolina. Born on 13 Mar 1789 in Pasquotank Co., North Carolina. Benjamin died on 19 Mar 1825, he was 36.

They had the following children:

i. Martha (1811-1868) Bundy
ii. William Bundy Born on 18 Feb 1813

iv. John Bundy (1817-1823)
